Ormskirk and District Family History Society are to launch a new website dealing with ancestors who were members of Boat Families in the West Lancs District. This will take place on 24th March 2010 commencing at 8pm (doors open 7.30pm) at the Guide Hut, Moorgate, Ormskirk.A demonstration of the site will be given by our webmaster, Ian Myers, along with Keith Jenkins who had the original idea for the site. They will show you how to access the site and how to locate your ancestors. You can also add your own information to the database.For further information email secretary@odfhs.org.uk |
